about

The third album by k., with six new, original songs, and covers of songs by Lucinda Willams, Julie Doiron, underground blues legend Jessie Mae Hemphill, and yes, the Gerry Rafferty Band.

K. stretches its wings on this release and offers a great arrangement for each song, making use of the multi-instrument talents of the group, from pedal steel to marimba to uke to the traditional rock band set-up. The songs are strong and strangely soulful, and Karla's rich alto voice has never sounded better.
